How to find out if JavaScript is disabled on your computer:Here are the step-by-step instructions for majority of the browsers. Java and JavaScript are two different things, so make sure that you're looking at the correct language. The following instructions describe how to set JavaScript options for: Firefox, Mozilla, Opera, Safari, Explorer and Netscape browsers.
Internet Explorer 7.x, 6.x and 5.x
Open Internet Explorer
Select Internet Options from the Tools menu
In Internet Options dialog box select the Security tab
Click Custom level button at bottom. The Security settings dialog box will pop up
Under Scripting category enable Active Scripting, Allow paste options via script an Scripting of Java applets
Click OK twice to close out
Hit Refresh
Firefox 2.x
Open Firefox
Select Options from the Tools menu
Click on the Content icon
Make sure Enable JavaScript is checked
Click OK
Click Reload
Mozilla 1.x
Open Mozilla
Select Preferences from the Edit menu
Click the arrow next to Advanced
Click Scripts & Plugins
Check Navigator beneath "Enable Javascript for"
Click OK
Click Reload
Opera 9.x
Open Opera
Select Quick Preferences from the File menu
Make sure Enable Javascript is checked
Click Reload
Netscape 7.x
Open Netscape
Select Preferences from the Edit menu
Click the arrow next to Advanced
Click Scripts & Plugins
Check Navigator beneath "Enable Javascript for"
Click OK
Click Reload
Netscape 8.x
Open Netscape
Select Options from the Tool menu
Click on the Site Controls icon
Make sure the Enable JavaScript option (located in the Web Features frame) is checked
